Preschool and School-aged Child Care

The Visalia YMCA has been serving Tulare County communities since 1939 providing value based services such as youth programs, sports and summer camps. No matter how many hours children spend in child care, family is the most important structure in their lives. At the Visalia YMCA, good child care is good family care. Staff members are partners with parents and caregivers, working together to help preschoolers and school-age children grow up healthy, happy and strong. Every activity is carefully designed to spark your kids' imaginations and encourage lifelong, positive values. Every discovery strengthens their self-confidence and, in turn, the relationship they have with you. We offer full- and part-time options to give you flexibility, peace of mind and to provide your youngsters with a safe, friendly place to learn and grow. Year-round Preschool classes are available for ages 3-5. School-aged child care is available at fourteen sites in Visalia and one in Tulare for year-round and traditional students ages 5-14.
